What a great trip vacation this was! Yes, it was HOT and there was a horrible storm, but the memories and fun times that we had more than made up for that. It was just so much fun being together with family and Charlie so enjoyed being with his cousins!
Friday, July 16th
Audrey loved her life jacket! It had this little handle on the back that we could just hold her up and she could walk and splash around. She loved it!

Saturday, July 17th
Mom, Audrey and I took Mark and Kent to the starting line for the 10K they ran. We followed the route they were running and stopped at various places to cheer them on. Out of 236 runners, Mark placed 2nd overall and Kent placed 37th. They both did an amazing job in the crazy heat...they both jumped in the water after the race! Good job guys!
After the race we headed back to the Beach House and straight into the water! What a perfect day to be in the water!

Sunday, July 18th
After a hot night and Audrey tucked into bed the storm hit. Sirens went off, I grabbed Audrey and we all headed to the storm shelter at the camp for safety. Electricity went off and didn't come back on til around 10am the next day. The pictures below is just a small part of what things looked like. My brothers Mark and Kent cleared the seaweed that had washed up onto the shore. Branches were everywhere and huge trees down in yards a few blocks away.
