Charlie's 2nd Birthday Party!

What a great Birthday Charlie had this year!!! He even will tell you how old he is if you ask him! :) The theme: John Deere since he loves his tractors and his Grandpa's are partial to the green tractors so it seemed fitting! Happy Birthday Buddy!

Charlie got a little embarrased when we sang "Happy Birthday" too him, it was so cute!

We're Pregnant!

I think the news is out to everyone, but I thought I should officially post on our blog. ;) We're due March 15th!

Happy 2nd Birthday Charlie!

Charlie turned TWO today!!! We met my good friend Shannon and her little boy, Griffin, for some fun at the MOA at Nickelodeon Universe. The boys had fun on the rides...Shannon and I got to enjoy them too, LOL!!!

Valley Fair!

We went to Valley Fair today! My work sponsored this employee event and we had so much fun! We were actually really suprised that Charlie enjoyed the rides so much...well most of them! We started out riding in the antique cars and Charlie even got to drive!
Then we spotted the train! Charlie is all about trains these days and boy was he excited! This was the first time he's ever been on a ride let alone by himself! Mom was a bit nervous!! He did really well though and even went on this one TWICE!
You can sort of see Kevin waiving on the back of this whirly boat ride...Charlie is too short to see. He wasn't super fond of this one. After a little lunch, we mosied on and found this ride. Boy was this a hit, he loved the semi's and this was also a ride that he did twice...good thing the lines were short! Oh and sorry that the video is sideways...I tried to fix it w/ no luck.

We continued on and found this cute ride...Charlie did not like it. I guess the bees were bumpy, he didn't cry or anything but he looked down and put his finger nervously in his mouth and was excited to get off!

On the way out we hit up the antique cars again...this time is was my turn to drive w/ C...I wasn't very good!

Okoboji!

We spent July 24th - 27th in Okoboji w/ the whole Johnson clan. Kevin and I celebrated our 4th Anniversary on the 24th...and of course sharing this day w/ our nephew Tanner (he turned 6!). Our days were spent lounging at the beach, swimming, laughing, talking, running after kids, and enjoying the beautiful weather that we were so fortunate to have.

Charlie spent most of the vacation walking up and down the dock (followed closely by an adult of course....we got some good exercise, LOL!)

July 4th!

I was a little nervous about keeping Charlie up to watch the fireworks, but I'm so glad we did!! He LOVED them!! He wasn't scared at all and was such a good boy sitting on either my lap or Grandma Arlet's. What great memories!!!

We spent a lot of time outside on the Johnson farm this weekend...the weather was beautiful!!! Charlie had a lot of fun exploring on the farm!
