My First Haircut!

I've been giving Charlie "Carrie cut's" as I call them, but decided it was time he got his first hair cut. He was such a good little boy and sat so nicely!

A day at the ZOO!

I got to sleep at 3AM the night/morning before and Charlie and I were off to meet Shannon & Griff at the ZOO @ 9am. I was tired when I woke up but it was nothing a little Diet Coke couldn't cure. :)

The goats were the big hit of the day. The boys loved to feed the goats and got the biggest kick out of it.

I had to include this shot. This was from last year when we went to the ZOO w/ them. Too cute!

Anyway....Afterwards we headed home and Charlie and I both took an almost four hour nap, we sure needed it! :)

Girls Night Out - SATC

What a GREAT night out w/ the girls. This was a month or two in the planning...going to the opening night of Sex and The City. We started out at Azia (pronounced "Asia" as I later found out) and had some great drinks (I had a Flirtini...followed by some wine), Sushi and fabulous Cranberry Cream Puffs...YUMMY!

After Dinner we headed to the AMC Theatre in Edina. We headed up the excalator to our VIP seating in the movie private SUITE. Wow! That was the best experience of watching a movie I have EVER had! SATC was a great movie and lived up to all of our expectations. This mamma got home at 2:12AM (!!!) and was up the next day at 7AM to head to the next excursion...

Maddie's Birthday Party

Maddie turned 10! What a beautiful day for a party!! Hanna Montana was the theme and she even had a "brownie cake" guitar!

First Boat Trip

We hit a major milestone today, Charlie's first trip out in the boat. He got nervous when I put him in the boat and as soon as we got going, he was crying and screaming on for a good 15 minutes. He did get settled down and once he figured out how cool it was to be out on a boat...he LOVED it!

Soon after Charlie wanted to be fish just like Daddy and had to hold the pole too. Fishing wasn't going to well, but we finally go a little fish and Charlie thought it was pretty neat, he even touched it.

Pre-pre Sex in the City Party

Here are my two good friends, Katie & Katie. Love them! Not only do they make me laugh, but they bring good wine and drinks too! :) Katie (on the right) is having a Pre Party for the Sex in the City movie on May, 30th and I can't wait!! We thought we'd catch up on a few of the shows before then, thanks for coming out to the "burbs" Ladies!

VEGAS Baby!

We had so much fun in Vegas! Grandma Arlet came to stay w/ Charlie and she had to remind me that things would be back to normal routine when I got back home, so enjoy my time away and not miss Charlie. He was in good hands and had lot so fun w/ Grandma and his cousins. She even made a photo book that journaled their outtings, priceless! We stayed at the Flamingo in the newly renovated, "GO" rooms and they were great. Even had a 42" flatscreen in the room and even a small one in the bathroom mirror.

The Venetian. We took a rest on the steps near the gondola rides. It was peaceful, romantic, and a beautiful evening.
On Friday our friends Sarah and Kevin arrived from Denver. We went out to eat at Strip House in the Planet Hollywood resort. It was wonderful.

After Dinner we went to the Cirque show, "O", and browsed though the Bellagio's breathtaking gardens.

Saturday morning a good friend of mine from back home picked me up and we had breakfast. It was great to catch up with her...thanks Bridget!!! Saturday night we headed down to Fremont St. for that experience. We didn't stay long enough to see the light show.

All in all, it was a wonderful trip...and until the next one...Shake n Bake!!
