Charlie (Charles) Emory Webb - 8/20/06

Charlie entered the world on Sunday, August 20th at 9:42PM!!!
Weight: 9lbs, 12oz!!
Lenght: 22.5 in. long!
My water broke at midnight on Saturday night. Kevin and I were at the hospital by 1AM. While Kevin got some shut eye, I was up all night w/ contractions, excited and filled w/ addrenaline from the anticipation of his arrival. I was still so worried that we didn't know the name of our child yet!
Things are a little blurry after that but I endurred contractions until noon on Sunday then decided it was time for an epidural. Boy was that relief!!! I was finally able to get some relief and some rest.
After three hours of pushing, Charlie came into our lives at 9:42PM. What a blessing!!! It is unreal that we are parents to such a beautiful child.

Welcome to our blog!! I thought this would be a great way for family and friends to stay up to date on our new little arrival. I'm currently 40 weeks TODAY and patiently awaiting for the little guy to arrive. Watch for new and exciting updates (and pictures!) to come!!!
